Stiffer springs and stabilizer bars improve responsiveness and cornering, while larger brakes with cross-drilled rotors provide exceptional stopping power.

The suspension and steering geometry have also been optimized for better handling, with individual braking on each wheel to improve road feel.

The standard Z51 Performance Package provides precise handling and a smooth ride thanks to superior lateral acceleration and excellent traction and stability in corners.

It offers more aggressive dampers and springs, stiffer stabilizer bars and larger brakes with cross-drilled rotors and high performance linings.

Combined with a faster shifting transmission, Corvette delivers optimal performance without compromising comfort or safety.

Read the road

An even smoother ride is assured by optional Magnetic Selective Ride Control, the fastest variable damping technology available.

Set your ride to Tour or Sport, and the system will read the road surface over 1,000 times per second, adjusting the magneto-rheological fluid shock absorbers to reduce bounce and noise.

On slick roads the system integrates with the traction control and ABS to keep the vehicle balanced.

Quality under pressure

Corvette also helps to keep you in control by deploying a Tire Pressure Monitoring System.

It continuously tracks the pressure of each tire and passes the data to the Driver Information Center on the dashboard, so you always know when a tire requires attention.

If a puncture occurs, the tires can even run while flat, giving you precious time to drive somewhere safe.

    With 437 hp and 575 Nm of torque, the new all-aluminum 6.2 liter LS3 engine delivers a top speed of 300 km/h, making it one of the fastest Corvette engines ever.

    The new 6-speed manual transmission is mounted in a transaxle configuration, directly connected to the rear axle. This results in a near 50/50 weight balance for improved agility.
