Introduction
Kroymans Import Europe B.V. also acting as Cadillac, Corvette & HUMMER Europe (CCHE), respects the privacy of its clients and its website users. The personal data with which you entrust to us is our responsibility and is handled in accordance with the requirements laid down by the Dutch Personal Data Protection Act (WBP), which is based on European Union rules and agreements. In conformity with the WBP, we have given notice of the processing of personal data to the Dutch Data Protection Authority in The Hague. These notices are public and may be consulted on line.
Cadillac, Corvette & HUMMER Europe has its offices at De Corridor 25, 3621 ZA Breukelen. Our headquarters are in the Netherlands. The reason why Dutch law applies to the protection and processing of the personal information you provide is that the relevant security measures are those applicable in the country in which the processor of the personal data is based. The responsibility for the personal data remains at all times with Cadillac, Corvette & HUMMER Europe, irrespective of where and by whom this data is processed.
What personal data does Cadillac, Corvette & HUMMER Europe process?
1. Personal identification data
We process the data that you provide from the moment you complete an on-line form or put a question to our Customer Contact Center, for example if you request a brochure or test drive or sign up for an event.
The information involved will include (depending on the nature of your question or request):
- Your name, address and email address;
- Data concerning your current car;
- Any data concerning payment.
You must complete any fields in the on line form shown with an asterisk (*). In specific cases there are a number of additional requirements, which you will always be notified about at the relevant time.
The reason why we ask you for this information is to enable us to improve the service we provide you and offer even better support. We also need some information from you to be able to process your request. For example, when you request a brochure, we need your full postal address in order to send the brochure to you.
2. Non-personal identification data
When you visit one of our websites data is automatically collected by means of so-called ‘cookies’. A cookie is a small computer program sent to your computer. These cookies enable you, for example, to load the website more quickly on your next visit. However, a cookie also does nothing more than record the way in which you use the websites, the particular website from which you visit the website, the length of your visit to the website and when you leave it.
This data is used on an authorised and anonymous basis and is therefore not traceable back to an identifiable individual. We never retain sensitive information in cookies.
For what purposes is your personal data used?
The purposes for which your personal data can be collected and processed are as follows:
1. Information, products or services of Cadillac, Corvette & HUMMER Europe
You can request information about products and services via various channels. To be able to respond to your request or send you the required information, certain details about you are registered so that we can contact you.
Examples include making an appointment with one of our dealers for a test drive or to request a brochure, newsletter or information via email or ordinary post or to process your registration for one of our events.
If you order a car from us, your data will also be stored in our database. However, there are different rules and codes regarding this process. For further information about data processing and protection during this process we recommend that you contact your nearest dealer.
2. Optimisation of the websites
Use of the aforementioned cookies allows us to monitor what subjects or applications are of interest to you by, for example, analysing the subjects that you have searched for and the pages or sections of the website you have looked at. Based on this data, we can find out what subjects in the website are of the most interest, so that we can target the website better to the interests of the visitor.

To be able to analyse the collected anonymous data, we use statistical programs. These programs use your IP address to gather information about your browser type and computer. Again, as before, the data cannot be connected with an identifiable individual, which means that as a visitor to our site, you remain anonymous.
Do we pass your personal data to any third party?
On principle, we do not sell your data to any third party unless you have given us express permission to do this. Your data is only made available to any third party involved in processing your request / order / registration, etc. Such parties are referred to in the legislation as ‘processors’. These processors are carefully selected by us and only process your data on our instructions and in accordance with the Dutch Personal Data Protection Act.
Our dealers can also access your data and may possibly use it to send you information about the products and services in which you indicated an interest.
Our employees, dealers and any third parties are obliged to respect the confidentiality of your data.
We will only disclose your personal data or pass it to government authorities if required to do so by law.
How is your data protected?
We do not wish to harm the trust you place in us with regard to your personal data. Accordingly, we deploy appropriate technical and organisational measures for the optimum protection of your data from loss, destruction, access by unauthorised persons and accidental or wilful manipulation.
Any employee, partner, processor or dealer who breaches our privacy or security policy rules will be subject to disciplinary measures, including termination of his/her contract of employment as well as civil and/or criminal proceedings.
What are your rights?
The law gives you various rights regarding your personal data, including the right to insist we reveal to you which personal data from you we are processing. You must submit this request in writing to us and the law requires us to reply to you within four weeks of receipt of the request. You should send any such request to:

You also have the right to require us to add to, correct, delete or shield your data. Any request to do this must indicate the changes you require. We must respond to such a request within four weeks.
Furthermore, with every online form you have the option to indicate whether you wish to receive information from us in the future. If you do not want this, we will use your data just once for the purpose you require and only send you information if you have consented to receive this.
In addition, we require you to confirm your agreement to our Data Protection Guidelines at the bottom of every form, printed material or reply card. If you do not accept our Data Protection Guidelines, you should indicate this on the site and we shall not include you in our database; however, will we then not be able to process the information, registration or request you wish us to deal with.
Should you not wish to receive any further email newsletters from us, then you can let us know at any time by clicking on the link at the foot of every newsletter.
Should you decide you do not wish to receive any further information from us, we will indicate this in our database. In this case, we will not remove your data from our database, but keep it for the purposes of blocking communications for direct marketing purposes. In short, this is to ensure that your data will not continue to be used in the future.
